Having established our name in the scene over the past 4 years C2D have gone from strength to strength and are rapidly becoming one of the UK's most respected Tech/Neuro Drum and Bass record labels.
About Us
Hailing from the small southwest city of Gloucester, U.K., Close 2 Death is managed by DJ Seizure, MC Jamie B and Metaverse.. Originally conceived in 2005 based on the idea of having a consistant and quality outlet for dark and melodic neurofunk/Tech drum and bass. Starting out initially as a digital download label C2D quickly built up a reputation with up and coming artists and the community alike. The logical progression for the label was being putting out vinyl and after funding manufacture and securing a distribution deal C2D001 was released in 2006 to much critical acclaim. A further deal was agreed for all future output and this catapulted close 2 death into the scene. Several years on and C2D is fast becoming one of the most respected neuro/tech labels in the scene today with artists and fans alike, a rapidly growing fan base worldwide achieving a status that is on par with some of the very labels that influenced its creation. C2D has become the launch pad for many up and coming artists in both the vinyl and digital domains aswell as an output for our own music.
