Its been a busy summer here at C2D and we thought it was about time we put out an update on our forthcomings over the next few months for those of you who are interested...

Each track on the EP is without a doubt a sensory experience which has added to the growing momentum of support for Maztek's music worldwide grabbing the attention of some major labels and artists. He also teams up with another newcomer to the C2D crew and risng star in his own right Aeph on the mighty Black Days which wraps up the EP in true C2D style..Hard and heavy !

For our next Vinyl release of 2009 (C2D006) we are proud to present 2 stormers from Jade and Proktah..
Jade - Shift
Returning to C2D for a solo outing Jade delivers a floor filler with a twist!! Heavily reverbed techy stabs combined with steppy beats are the perfect prelude that flows smoothly into a drop that will blow the roof off. Pure and simple neuro sickness.
Proktah - Monakin
For his first release on C2D Proktah has come up with this smasher of gigantic proportions. A cinematic score on the intro creates an atmosphere that sets the scene for the drop that is guaranteed to please. Smashing up dancefloors worldwide with its twisting filter driven bassline coupled with hard and heavy beats.

For the final release of 2009 (C2D007) we are proud to present the mighty Optiv paired up with one of our best up and comers Aeph for a massive double A sider that is doing some serious damage on dubplate...
Optiv - Krakpot
From a man that needs no introduction as part of one of Tech dnb's seminal acts Cause 4 Concern. Optiv is smashing up the place with his solo tracks right now. Krakpot is a no holds barrred filth bath of a track. Tearing beats and searing synths lead you into a sub-low drop that will have you begging for mercy. A nod to the glory days of tech dnb with a modern twist!
Aeph - The Burning Shadow
Aeph brings a slightly different vibe to the table on the flip that is equally destroying dancefloors worldwide with the cinematic opus that is The Burning Shadow. A truely epic intro with a sci-fi influenced score combined with hip hop beats that make this track a perfect set starter. A brief moments silence before all hell breaks loose on the drop. This track and the guy behind it is one not to be underestimated!

Official statement regarding issues with C2DEP01-2
Ez all
We would like to take this oppertunity to apologise to anyone who has bought copies of C2DEP01 part 2
( Silent Hell Bulletproof RMX + Sylar by No Money) that was released worldwide on 1st September 2008. Due to a problem in the administration of the masters at our distrubutor the tracks from C2DEP01 part 1 were repressed with the part 2 labels.These records have now been recalled from all record stores stocking them and we have been assured that the correct pressings will be delivered to us to check in the next week. As a result of this we expect the release of C2DEP01-2 to be delayed by a further week or so to ensure that the correct product is redistrubuted to all stores.
And so to anyone that has already bought a copy of the record and/or emailed us about this problem we extend our apologies and assure you that this problem will not happen again. - hey at least they will be collectable in a fair few years maybe haha.

Just a quick update on whats happening this month and beyond...
This coming week sees the release of the Transmission digital EP (C2DMP308)
with some seriously heavy tracks from Future Signal, Zeal and Magithis will be available from www.beatport.com and www.junodownload.com very soon!!
Following this part 1 of our first vinyl EP - Tunnel Of Death should be in the shops in the next 3-4 weeks as we are waiting on the test presses now :-)

Fresh from playing alongside DrumSound and youngman MC in Gloucester this weekend Seizure and Jamie B are available for bookings and can be contacted through the feedback address on the contact page.
We are also lined up for another guest slot on Callides drum and bass show on GFM in the coming weeks.
All in all its shaping up to be a pretty big summer for C2D with part 2 of the EP due in June followed by a 12" single from the mighty Future Signal theres plenty to be hyped about, and plenty more we are keeping tight lipped about , keep your eye on the website for more info!!!
