Just a quick update on whats happening this month and beyond...
This coming week sees the release of the Transmission digital EP (C2DMP308)
with some seriously heavy tracks from Future Signal, Zeal and Magithis will be available from www.beatport.com and www.junodownload.com very soon!!
Following this part 1 of our first vinyl EP - Tunnel Of Death should be in the shops in the next 3-4 weeks as we are waiting on the test presses now :-)

Fresh from playing alongside DrumSound and youngman MC in Gloucester this weekend Seizure and Jamie B are available for bookings and can be contacted through the feedback address on the contact page.
We are also lined up for another guest slot on Callides drum and bass show on GFM in the coming weeks.
All in all its shaping up to be a pretty big summer for C2D with part 2 of the EP due in June followed by a 12" single from the mighty Future Signal theres plenty to be hyped about, and plenty more we are keeping tight lipped about , keep your eye on the website for more info!!!

Jade+Rusher - Silent Hell/ Silent Extent - Fallin' Down
Jade has made a name for himself knocking out a succession of ear shatteringly powerful tracks across a selection of the finest labels of late, including a massive piece on the latest Black Sun Empire album, but now he makes his Close 2 Death debut in fine style with the absolutely disgusting ‘Silent Hell’, a track so dirty we had to shower ourselves vigorously after hearing it. On the flip Silent Extent brings the equally as rotten ‘Fallin’ Down’, a contortion of beats and bass topped off with some rather nifty Rave atmospherics. A brilliant mash up of stomach churning elements if ever we’ve heard one, and we’ve definitely heard a lot of those over the years!

The next installment to the close2death camp is ready to drop into your shops and damage floors side A comes from the nasty tag team duo JADE & RUSHER SILENT HELL .This track starts off with some epic horror movie sounds then leads into some evil voice sample before working its way up to with filtered beats then the beats drop, and my god you know about it. Stabbin snares, weighty kicks and insane structure then you hear the main bass sound slowly creeping its way in before the breakdown leading up to the drop ... It come SILENT HELL. Boom the drop comes "hard an heavy" with nasty twisting evil bass sounds... Wicked beats, insane cow bell and a sub to die for .. This track is an all out slaughter like a mad massacre man going nuts!! Darker than a coffin 6ft deep in the ground. When you hear this track your instantly hooked. Gonna damage floors worldwide. support from artsists such as: MATT U' CHRIS SU 'AXIOM 'BULLETPROOF 'MUFFLER' PSIDREAM' GRIDLOK to name few.
Side B comes from new act Switzerland based SILENT EXTENT. If you havent heard these guys yet then your missing out big time. FALLIN DOWN starts of with a nice atmospheric sound lovley trancy synths then the vocal kicks in... and my god it fits in sweet, striaght away your hairs on the back of your neck stand up. This track will make you happy when you're sad. Beats kick in from out of nowhere, solid snares beefy kicks leading up to the drop... "AN IT COMES HEAVY "...Chop changing beats, evil sub and the main bass sound that drills into your head. After hearing this track you'll being singing it back in your head for weeks. Bulletproof touches down on close2death
Bulletproof has agreed to do a remix of Jade and Rushers silent hell, which is C2D003... With the remix coming soon after on C2D004, which could end up being an EP but we haven't really decided on this yet. We are so glad to have Bulletproof on C2D as he has been a big inspiration to us over the years since they were on BC's Square One label to his own imprint, Cyanide.
The sound... well dirty funk neuro bizzness and if you havent heard his tracks yet then u have missed out .
We have also had talks about getting a full 12" release later in the year so keep your eyes peeled on the info for more.
On a different note, we have the test press copies of C2D002 here and oh my gosh they sound fuckin sick :) Diode - No Mans Land is gonna smash up the dance floors and Kenei - Trip to hell does what it says on the tin .
These should be out on promo in the next few weeks via nu-urban so will be in Redeye Records and Chemical in a few weeks... Heads keep looking coz you won't wanna miss this baby.

Current mood: bouncyEz all, just wanted to update on whats up next on close2death. The 1 time smasher from Diode....no mans land, and on the flip is the nasty evil Kenei with his trip to hel...l both tracks coming on C2D002 in the next 2 weeks on promo via nu-urban music.
after this will be C2D003 which is a big 1 for us as we have signed a monster of a 12 for this . A JADE & RUSHER track called silent hell....A deep dark neuro stomper of a track.. It is a great pleasure to have these guys on C2D as jade is 1 of my top producers, and teaming up with rusher ....well need i say more.... sick! On the flip is my man of the moment KENEI wth an outstanding, jumpy neuro destroyer this track is 1 of my favs at the moment you're hooked from the first time you hear this babyalso watch out for a JADE & RUSHER- SILENT HELL BULLETPROOF RMX

C2D Agrees P+D deal with Nu Urban Music.
After some discussion with the boys down at Nu Urban Music who were responsible for the deployment of C2D001 we have come to an agreement for pressing and distribution of our catalogue.
This not only means that we will have a much tighter and regular release schedule but we are among the best in the business, alongside labels who have been a massive influence on us over the years. Black Sun Empire , Underfire, skynet, Universal Project , Step 2 Zero ,G2 ....to name but a few
Much respect to Phil , Tobie and the crew for all the help and heres hopes for a successful future.
Watch out for C2D002 on promo soon more news to follow........
